Winterfest is here! One of Havasu’s biggest events, it’s happening this weekend on Main Street (McCulloch), which will be closed to traffic as vendors set up for the festivities. With sunny skies and temperatures forecasted at 77 degrees, it’s the perfect time to enjoy all the fun and energy that Winterfest brings to our beautiful city.
In real estate news, the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage saw its first decline in six weeks after climbing above 7% last week. According to Freddie Mac, this welcomed dip has already sparked a rise in mortgage applications, signaling increased interest from homebuyers.
We currently have 428 homes on the market. For reference, this compares to 313 homes last August and since early November, inventory has remained steady above 400. In just the last week, 57 new homes hit the market, while 23 homes closed, reflecting a consistent flow of activity in our local market. In the last week alone, 57 new homes came on the market, and 23 closed.
If you’re thinking about buying or selling or simply want to talk about how these trends may affect you, I’d be happy to help. And don’t forget to take some time this weekend to enjoy Winterfest—it’s one of the many reasons we love living here!
