Despite headlines about the “fever finally breaking” in the real estate market with lower interest rates, Lake Havasu’s market activity remains steady. We currently have 354 houses listed for sale, and 27 homes went under contract in the past week. Freddie Mac reports that mortgage rates dropped slightly last week, reaching their lowest levels in two years, creating new opportunities for buyers.
On the development front, Lake Havasu is growing! Anderson Powersports, along with JC Capital LLC, are working to get 10 acres of land rezoned for a new 31,000-square-foot dealership. The project is still making its way through planning and zoning and will need final approval from the City Council. If approved, the dealership will be located on the lakeside of Highway 95, south of the Hobby Lobby shopping center.
This weekend, Havasu hosts the World Final Jet Ski competition as well as the US Jet Ski Freestyle Championship, plus many more events. Reach out to me if you’d like to receive weekly updates about the Havasu real estate market and events, and I’ll send it your way!
Mark your calendars for October 24! The K-12 Foundation’s Taste of Havasu fundraiser at Sara Park Rodeo Grounds is always a great time to enjoy food from local restaurants while supporting a fantastic cause.
